JJK (Jakarta Java Kini) is Jakarta's longest-serving most comprehensive and poplar city magazine. Thought provoking , bright, dynamic, and informative. JJK breathes the capital of Indonesia. Produced monthly by a team of writers and editors that know the city inside out, the beautifully laid-out pages of JJK examines the various facets of life in The Big Smoke from culture to arts, dining, nightlife, music, sport, fashion, social and environmental issues and muc more.

Knowing full well that Jakartans also love to travel, JJK dedicates a regular travel department that aims to inspire the city's residents to explore the most exotic parts of Indonesia, Asia and Australia, while at the same time providing them with local or insider's knowledge to guide them on their journeys.

Circulation & Distribution

JJK distributes a total of 45,000 copies each month in Jakarta, Bandung, Yogjakarta, Semarang and Surabaya. The magazine can be found in all five and four star hotels, apartments and serviced residences, selected restaurants, cafes and bars, international schools, cultural centres, tourism boards, embassies, airport lounges and various organisations catering to both expatriate and Indonesian community.

The magazine is also widely available in all major bookstores and news stands across Java.
